Winners of the 2016 A Taste of Glynn stepped forward to the applause of an approving crowd to accept their awards. Guests enjoyed samples of the best efforts of 16 chefs from the Golden Isles top restaurants, caterers and upscale markets. All proceeds from the event benefit the Glynn Community Crisis Center. This year’s winners were:

Second Place: The Public House at Sea Palms Resort: Duck confit tostado

First Place: Echo: Surf and turf kabai

Second Place: The Market at Sea Island: Georgia shrimp salad

First Place: Island Jerk: Curry chicken

Second Place: Bistro Eleven 88: Lightly curried chicken salad



First Place: Tasteful Temptations: Bananas Foster

Second Place: Jekyll Island Convention Center: Bread pudding
